We welcome sponsors as a way to increase the funding that goes to non-profits. The way this works at Art for Our Sake is that artists or specific artwork can be sponsored. A sponsorship increases the attractiveness of an NFT to prospective collectors.

Artist sponsorship

A sponsor can designate support for a particular artist. Here is how a sponsorship could work for a hypothetical artist:

Artist Jaoa Bilbao has agreed to contribute 25% of sales income to the World Animal Society if an NFT is sold. A sponsor could say for every Jaoa Bibao NFT sold, they will match the donation.

Specific artwork sponsorship

Artist Jaoa Bilbao has agreed to contribute 25% of sales income from NFT artwork depicting a sea otter to the National Otter Fund if the NFT is sold. The NFT of a sea otter is listed for $500. A sponsor could say that if the sea otter NFT is sold, they will add $1000 the donation.
