Based in the East Midlands, UK, Rosabelle creates softly drawn, highly detailed wildlife art using pastel pencils.

She came to focus on her love for wildlife following several years as a full-time freelance illustrator, creating images for the UK and worldwide markets. Her work includes stationery, gifts, greeting cards (including “pop-up” style cards), craft, needlework, fabric, portraiture, book illustrations, papercrafts and educational products.

In her wildlife work, she focuses on the subject’s gentle elements. Rosabelle says, “This is how I most enjoy working and wish to acknowledge their sentiency, to show how like us they are, and to acknowledge their value and importance to both theirs and our own future survival.”

She adds, “I am so very pleased my drawings will further help wildlife thanks to
